| Since competition stands a major objective of
the Group in domestic and international arenas, SHAYAN Industrial
Group is benefiting from Quality Assurance and Quality Control
departments to institutionalize Total Quality Management (TQM).
Quality Assurance department is committed to materialize requirements
for quality management and demands set by the customer according
to reference standards. In this view, the Group has received
a number of certificates such as: ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9002:1994,
GRADE B (SDGEDOC 90) SAPCO, SAZEGOSTAR. The company is also
planning to receive ISO TS16949:2002 certificate in early 2004.

| In Quality Control department based on control
plan, which is tailored to the requirements of the customer,
all processes ranging from incoming materials up to outgoing
products are controlled. |

| In the meantime, quality control tools such
as SPC, MSA and so on are applied to conduct preventive measures
for improvement of processes and decrease of waste materials.
The Calibration department monitors measuring tools to ensure
precision. Controlling fixtures which are used to check the
frame and form of body accessories are kept in Ch/f room. |

| Regarding mass production of clutch Assemblies
of vehicles, SHAYAN Industrial Group has established a unique
modern specialized laboratory in the country. The laboratory
is equipped with some instruments to test parameters such as;
vertical diagram test, swivel life, swivel torque, static life,
dynamic life, thermal durability, life of plate pad, durability
and disintegration, salt spray, and plating thickness tester,
etc. |
